Residential Program Manager Lead – Ubuntu House
Michaella Clemming brings extensive experience in residential care, youth development, and restorative case management to Cocreative Culture’s Ubuntu House. Her work is rooted in person-centered, trauma-informed support that honors dignity, safety, and belonging-reflecting the Ubuntu principle, “I am because we are.”
Michaella has led and supported 24-hour residential programs serving young people experiencing homelessness, LGBTQIA+ youth, unaccompanied refugee minors, and justice-impacted families. Her leadership spans shelters, correctional settings, school environments, and community-based youth programs, where she has overseen staff supervision, licensing preparation, crisis response, and program operations.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis in Social Work from The Evergreen State College and brings a strong commitment to cultural humility, relationship-building, and restorative practice. Michaella is passionate about walking alongside young people as they build resilience, strengthen identity, and move toward stable, thriving futures.
At Ubuntu House, she helps cultivate a structured and compassionate environment where youth feel seen, heard, and empowered to grow.
