Guystave, Cocreative Culture’s Vice Chair, is a dedicated leader who embodies resilience, community service, and the spirit of Ubuntu. A proud member of the Army National Guard, Guystave is committed to uplifting his community and guiding others toward stability. He serves as the Rapid Re-Housing Program Supervisor at CCS and as an RSS Supervisor at Key Recovery, where he plays a vital role in helping individuals achieve recovery and stability.

Originally from Kinshasa, Congo, Guystave arrived in the United States as a refugee in 2013, finding a new home in Seattle. His journey has been shaped by perseverance; after leaving high school, he earned his GED through the Job Corps and trained as a Medical Assistant. Driven by his commitment to social service, Guystave began his career in 2015 as a Resettlement Case Manager with Jewish Family Service, supporting newly arrived refugees and guiding them toward self-sufficiency. His experience expanded through roles as a Shelter Counselor at DESC and Shelter Coordinator at Mary’s Place, where he developed a deep understanding of community needs.

As the founder of the Uplift Global Foundation, Guystave continues to impact both his local and Congolese communities. His dedication to mentoring youth reflects his belief in the power of guidance to inspire and uplift the next generation, nurturing their resilience and potential. Through each role he undertakes, Guystave reinforces a legacy of compassion, community development, and Ubuntu leadership.

Cocreative Culture exists to eradicate the current school to prison pipeline system in the US by improving social, economic and environmental conditions for young people from historically marginalized backgrounds through our holistic approaches.
