About Evelyne Onyango

Program Manager & Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Ubuntu QRTP House

Evelyne Onyango serves as the Ubuntu Program Manager and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Cocreative Culture, supporting the delivery of trauma-informed, culturally grounded care within the Ubuntu QRTP House. Guided by the Ubuntu philosophy “I am because we are” Evelyne leads with compassion, accountability, and a deep commitment to shared humanity.

With over two decades of experience across healthcare, behavioral health, and youth development, Evelyne brings strong clinical leadership alongside a relational, healing-centered approach. Since December 2024, she has supported Cocreative Culture through restorative Ubuntu Circles, youth-centered program design, and operational systems aligned with Washington State residential care and licensing requirements.

Evelyne’s work centers safety, dignity, and trust particularly for youth and families impacted by the justice system. Her cross-cultural fluency, crisis response expertise, and commitment to culturally responsive care make her a steady and values-aligned leader within the Ubuntu QRTP community.

Cocreative Culture exists to eradicate the current school to prison pipeline system in the US by improving social, economic and environmental conditions for young people from historically marginalized backgrounds through our holistic approaches.
